Our life in God

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Thank you so much for the beautiful readings on “God our Nearest and Dearest” in the March 4, 2020 testimony meeting! As the Bible Lesson on Christ Jesus last week, and this week’s Lesson on Man, these readings clearly show us that our life is in God, our Nearest and Dearest! We learn here to never start with a problem; always stay focused on God, ask Him and He leads the way. I had to go to the DMV to renew my driver’s license and get the REAL ID (something needed by October 1, for federal identification); I was told it takes hours to do this and to bring a book. In the past, I would not have thought of taking my Bible, but that was what I was led to do; also I printed out a copy of the readings from Wednesday night to take with me. The time flew by — it didn’t take hours, and I had the opportunity to help others as well — it was a joyous time.
