I am continually “wowed” by the outpouring of Love which flows from this Church! Last Wednesday’s Testimony Meeting was absolutely filled with the power and presence of God. The readings were powerful and so full of Love. The music was sweet and comforting. Each testimony was inspired and very significant to me. This is how I feel about everything that goes on within this Church. Each Unity Watch is so powerful in taking a strong metaphysical stance in handling the world’s presentation of seeming problems. Our Roundtable is filled with spiritual ideas that we can put into practice and live Christian Science now in our daily lives! Our Bible Study illumines thought and raises our view of the Bible stories to a higher spiritual view. I didn’t realize that learning about the Bible could be so fulfilling and be the answer to our seeming problems of today. The problems of today are really the same problems down through the ages that we repeat over and over again because of our disobedience and ignorance of the Truth. It’s the practice of a selfhood apart from God which is and has always been our problem. Our Bible as revealed by Mary Baker Eddy in its spiritual meaning shows us what to do. “Science and Health With Key to The Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy is indeed that precious key which unlocks the treasure within the Bible’s written word. Because all who participate in this Church come from the source of inspiration and Love , each individual’s sharing of ideas is the Christ that has come to them as they have received from God. So, I am blessed to receive inspiration from communing with God in my own “secret place” and in the gathering of ideas shared so selflessly at Christ’s table, The Plainfield Christian Science Church , Independent. This Church is God’s precious gift to the world today.
