Providing Mind with a mold

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

The following seems to me to be such an interesting, important idea, new to me. Rather than misinterpret it I’ll just say the quote in context can be found on page 15 of Watches Prayers Arguments.

“What was her [Mrs. Eddy’s] purpose in so doing? Obviously it was to provide divine Mind with a mold. What molds divine Love to meet the human need, according to the promise given in our textbook? It must be the human need itself, held in thought.”

The citation must have been part of a recent watch or calendar email link. Thank you for sharing this treasure!
