Risen with Christ

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    In Colossians Paul writes: “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above,”. To me the important words are “with Christ”. Let me never forget that it is the ways of Christ, the truth learned in Christian Science that has elevated me, has lifted my thought, has improved my experience, healed illness, resolved problems. It is only by Christ that I have risen, and not by my own personal efforts. Remembering this, I will naturally seek things that are above, humbly watch to follow the divine leading. This is the reality of living.

    It’s wonderful learning about the Christ through Christian Science!The Christ IS here, present everywhere. SH p 583 Christ: the divine manifestation of God, which has come to the flesh to destroy incarnate error. How often do I think of the Christ as my real spiritual being, hence impossible to have all the false claims as real? To think any discords, imperfections, defects, etc are real is to dishonor the Christ(my Christ, everyone’s Christ as having no power to destroy incarnate error). That is unreal, far from the reality of the Christ’s ever-present healing power! To prove this reality each time with our demonstrations is blessing ourselves and blessing the whole of mankind.
