Sovereign: 1. Supreme in power; possessing supreme dominion; as a sovereign ruler of the universe.
2. Supreme; superior to all others; chief. God is the sovereign good of all who love and obey him.

Very grateful for the Christian Science teaching of God/Good’s Allness, which makes mortal mind the only culprit in all our temptations; whether the claim calls itself fever, tumour, inflammation, diseased organ, fear, high blood pressure, inhumane laws of any kind, laws of heredity, superstition, witchcraft, insanity, dementia etc.. It is mortal mind, that hidden culprit, we must handle as a nonexistent, powerless, nothingness!

As we persistently cultivate the Christ’s Power and Presence, we can obey the following for our freedom:
When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea. Allow nothing but His likeness to abide in your thought. Let neither fear nor doubt overshadow your clear sense and calm trust, that the recognition of life harmonious — as Life eternally is — can destroy any painful sense of, or belief in, that which Life is not.SH 495

Thank you. This powerful post reminded me of what Mrs. Eddy wrote on p. 470- 471
“The relations of God and man, divine Principle and idea, are indestructible in Science; and Science knows no lapse from nor return to harmony, but holds the divine order or spiritual law, in which God and all that He creates are perfect and eternal, to have remained unchanged in its eternal history.”
