The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Spirit and its formations are the only realities of being. Matter disappears under the microscope of Spirit. Sin is unsustained by Truth, and sickness and death were overcome by Jesus, who proved them to be forms of error. Spiritual living and blessedness are the only evidences, by which we can recognize true existence and feel the unspeakable peace which comes from an all-absorbing spiritual love.
    And from Mary Baker Eddy Her Spiritual Precepts Vol, 1 p.79, “She [Mrs.Eddy] knew that when error appeared in effect, it must be in cause, and unless she challenged and overthrew it in the first instance, it might overthrow her in the second.” Mrs.Eddy handled all error that was presented to her no matter how small it appeared in order that a door in thought was not left open to a larger form of error.
    I am realizing how important this way of thinking is in order to keep my spiritual balance each and every day. I must always go back to motive and cause whether I am talking to someone or doing a Watch, and this takes me to God… the only Cause and Creator.
