Spiritual Viewpoint

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Gen 21: 18 (to ;), 19, 20 (to 1st 😉
    18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand;
    19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
    20 And God was with the lad.

    Spiritual sense is what we all need to discern the present Truth even when things appear beyond redemption! As Hagar was prompted, and God was with the lad as well, so is our true being forever with God, perfect, spiritual and eternal. As is said in SH p.63 “In Science man is the offspring of Spirit. The beautiful,good and pure constitute his ancestry.” We must learn ourselves anew and start from this opposite view point in order to discern aright what is the Truth of our experiences.
