Study and enlightenment

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I am very grateful for the peace, joy and understanding I am gaining while staying the course. Each day, God is guiding me to what I need. He is giving me “my daily bread.” I used to believe I needed to keep every article, note and piece of paper I studied. This resulted in an unhelpful, cluttered mess, which cause frustration and disappointment instead of joy. Now, while I do make notes, I know that the information I need is always on hand when I need it through divine Mind. It is now a pleasure to read new material without the stress of trying to figure out how to keep that information for next time.

I am very grateful for our church classes: Our Roundtables and Bible Studies. I have always wished to attend “class” at the Plainfield church and always wondered why this structured study was not available. Now I know that our class instruction is provided via these groups as well as our services, watches and all of the printed and audio information available. Every member of our church is a teacher of Christian Science by sharing their understanding with others.

Thank you to all who know the Truth at Plainfield Church and everywhere else on earth!!!!

Thank you. I have had a somewhat different experience in that the “old” articles notes etc. that I have felt led to keep have been in many instances the new “daily bread” that I have been led to on particular days or led to share with someone in different situations. Yes, All-knowing , All-wise God, Mind, will always guide us to the ever-present answers. I have also found that His wisdom has guided me to make “radiant room” where there was clutter before. Truly HE does have all our answers and we can keep turning to Him!
