Supply

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I am very grateful for the Roundtables. On Sunday September 15, 2019 we had an excellent discussion on supply. The main point was that when you do God’s work you can’t help but be blessed. You don’t do it to get something but you do it because you love God. The blessings come because of your obedience.

    It reminded me of a prayer I have carried in my purse for many years. Mrs. Eddy told her students to put this prayer in their pocketbook, and, if they did, they would never want. I have done this all these years and have never wanted. This is the prayer:
    Love is all powerful.
    Love is all seeing.
    Love is ever present.
    Thy kingdom has come.
    Thy will be done here on earth as it is in heaven, and earth is heaven.
    Thank God for Mrs. Eddy, Christian Science and this independent church.
