The beautiful, good, and pure

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“In Science (you are) the offspring of Spirit. The beautiful, good, and pure constitute (your) ancestry.” Isn’t that the most glorious statement?! What more could anyone ask for than the “beautiful, good, and pure”? Why would you claim anything else for yourself or for those you love? Think about those qualities and know they belong to you as an obedient child of God.

What is wonderful is the important reminder, from Science and Health, that we should claim this good right now, no matter what, and do not have to wait for some future time, event, or experience to do so.

The great spiritual fact must be brought out that man is, not shall be, perfect and immortal.

What a wonderful promise for all, and it is for now. Along with this “God has created man in His own image and after His likeness” SH 344 : 7(God)-8 meant so much to me. We are so blessed. What a loving God!
