The eternal Truth

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    “The eternal Truth destroys what mortals seem to have learned from error, and man’s real existence as a child of God comes to light.” (S&H) So what have you seemed “to have learned from error”? What would error claim of you? Some unhappy memory that would try to torment – a past disease, divorce, failure? Whatever it claims to be, rest assured God’s Love and mercy can erase it from your thought so that even the “smell of smoke” no longer remains. Instead of dwelling on the negative replace these errors with “the eternal Truth.” Remember your oneness with the Father, know you have never been outside His loving care, whatever painful experience you might have had was no more than a dream, the Adam dream and once you awaken from a dream it has no hold on you. Declare the eternal Truth about yourself and stay with it – you will find God’s Word does destroy error and your “real existence as a child of God” WILL come to light! It has never been otherwise.
