The Plainfield Independent June Newsletter

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the inspirational June newsletter that came in yesterday’s mail! I sat down and read it cover to cover. I enjoyed the transformation of the desert photos–a wonderful visual reminder of how an arid unyielding land can blossom with a little water. A good metaphor for watering hidden seeds day by day as I read the Bible, do the lessons, and watch and pray.

Also I, too, highly recommend reading Christian Science in Germany by Frances Thurber Seal. I have a copy and have read it many times. A strong testimony on stepping out and doing what one is called to do knowing it is Christ who does the work. Frances planted many seeds in Germany in preparation for a big harvest.

Oh, curious, I looked on page 500 for a listing of all things that could not be healed by using Christian Science. I already knew the answer but it was another good visual anchor. Thank you!

    Ruminate also hit home.

The whole Newsletter was excellent. Thank you all for the time, love, and energy you shared to publish it!
