"…the side of invincible truth"

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Right and wrong, truth and error, will be at strife in the minds of students, until victory rests on the side of invincible truth.

Before coming to Plainfield, I always had such an inner conflict. Situations would come up where I felt there was a right answer, but then my loyalty to person would pull me in another direction. This constant pulling ended up making me depressed, anxious, and constantly feeling I was adrift.

I am so grateful to learn that my one loyalty is to God! What a needed simplification. With only one loyalty, there is only one voice to listen to, and thus no inner conflict, no depression or anxiety, and no feeling lost.

As written in Collectanea, on page 128:
“Duty never points in two directions.”

Christian Science has brought into my life something completely unique in my experience: Peace and joy and purpose. I am grateful for all this Science, this church, and practitioner support has provided to help me move toward “the side of invincible truth.” Thank you!
