This Sunday Service on Substance

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I cannot express enough gratitude for this Sunday Service. I don’t know where to begin – from the inspirational Lesson Sermon, the Scriptural Readings, the beautiful hymns and music – I was so taken back on how harmonious it all was. Members from all parts of the country coming together in such beautiful unity to present a service to the receptive thought in the world and as stated for those participating – “Let’s work in unity to make it a wonderful service that reaches beyond our membership to those in need!” That was what this service was today – every detail, even Gary saying, quietly “Amen” after the beautiful music which was sung with such humility at the end of the service, such respect, love, quietude – created in Mind – God’s gift to the world.

    Thank you Pam. And thank you for reading a Fruitage selection so beautifully! It is wonderful to hear all the different voices making for such a healing and inspirational service.
