Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I have been working with the Ten Commandments. Most recently, the ninth commandment, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” This commandment just freed me from a toxic and stifling social situation from which I did not know how to leave. Thankfully, God’s principal was in control and provided the perfect opportunity for me to separate myself from the group.

    This morning, Divine Mind unfolded to me that my acceptance of illness, disease and discord in any child of God is bearing false witness against them. I will not be disobedient to God!!!!! I feel such a sense of relief and peace. Know that Divine ideas appear to us in perfect form and that God and man are one inseparable being. Trust God!! His plan is in effect and results in health, peace, love and joy!!!
