Thought spiritualized

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    The Unity Watch of Tuesday, March 11, 2025, which was from Collectanea, by Mary Baker Eddy, said:
    “There is within us a divine selfhood that recognizes the
    genuine, good and true; a reflection of the divine perfection
    and intelligence, that enables us to lay hold of the Truth when
    it is presented to us.”

    Then, the Theme for Wednesday’s (3/12/25) testimony meeting was:
    “Be receptive to the great Truth that makes free”

    The Biblical readings from Malachi, Acts, and Titus declare the blessings and healing proofs gained when seeking and praising God, when healing in the name of Jesus Christ, and that “…the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men…”

    How blessed we are to have these Biblical accounts.

    Then in Miscellany by Mary Baker Eddy, we are told:
    “One thing is eternally here;…that needful one thing — divine
    Science, whereby thought is spiritualized…” (p. 126)

    And in Science and Health, on page 588, we find this definition:
    “HOLY GHOST. Divine Science; the development of eternal
    Life, Truth, and Love.”

    Peter, when he healed, was filled with the Holy Ghost.
    Jesus said: “…the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17:21)

    We have the accounts in the Bible, we have the interpretations/explanations in Science and Health, and we have this Independent Christian Science church dedicated to declaring this Truth to all mankind, that all may be/are blessed!
