UNITY WATCH READINGS

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I want to express my gratitude for the recent Unity Watch readings that were focused on working and watching with the Truth for our nation and our mid-term elections. I have referred back to them over and over in my study and prayerful work, I cannot say enough on how how truly beneficial they have been. We are so blessed to have these valuable Watches and the truths provided to us for effective work. I particularly loved a poem from the Watch for September 27th, it was written by Peter Kidd and entitled “Rise Above The Mist” – “Perfect God could not be cruel or send us in a downward spin – stick to perfect God and you’ll rise above the mist you’re in.”

    I also have found the powerful article written by Julia M. Johnston entitled, “God’s Elect”, which you can find on the church website very helpful I would recommend that to everyone – very useful in today’s current affairs.

    Thank you Plainfield Church for having such a wonderful website that overflows with so much good – the articles and books are so helpful and the Watches – not only benefit the world but help us individually.
