Watch # 295

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    I would like to thank Rae for this particular Watch week of October 20th. It has helped me tremendously as I’m currently undergoing some challenges and as the example in the watch, was beginning to “lose interest in everything”. This Watch has woken me up that it is not a sign of spiritual growth to feel indifference or less interest in what is currently surrounding us, our world, our families and our Church. As indicated in the Watch also, our Leader Mrs. Eddy, “never lost her interest in life”, even to the end. I’m very grateful for this watch and thank you again to Rae for this selection

    Thanks, Pilar. I, too, am so grateful for the Carpenters’ Watching Points. They speak with such clarity and purpose. This one seemed to pop off the page, as it is something I am working on, too. Important for me to remember, that we are here to translate earth into heaven. 😀
