Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

When a resentful thought comes, or a thought that someone did something to me, or should have done something differently, etc., the lesson this week and also the Watching Point, helped me know that my work is to love and send out a blessing.

Nothing can separate us from God and all He made us to be, even the perceived behaviour of another, which as I have found the hard way is often wrong anyway.

This is a relief and a blessing. Thank for Lesson.

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Watching Point 399 — WATCH that you seek to love others, rather than to seek to have others love you. When you seek to have others love you, you are clinging to earth. When you seek to love others, without regard for whether that love is returned, you are on the highroad to heaven. Mrs. Eddy once said, “In human love you seek someone to love; in divine Love you seek to love.” At another time she said, “In human love you expect something for yourself; in divine Love you expect something for all.”
