The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Re: “The purpose of Christian Science is to behold everything from the standpoint of Truth itself and thereby reject all limited sense.”
I have pondered the statement, and have heard/read only Truth can Know Truth, as IT IS and the separated illusory dream mind (a so called mortal mind ) cannot grasp Truth, by looking up to IT. Since the human mind (which has no existence, other than erroneous belief) can never understand Truth and is foolishness to such a five sense testimony ‘mind’.
Or, how can one look out from Truth’s Knowingness, as this Consciousness of Mind, that same Mind that Is/was in Christ Jesus?
I want to say how can an ‘i’ know, be certain, ( or is that impossible? ) of Being in sync or preferably, for lack of a best way to express this) Be(ing) the Only Mind? I know this sounds like I am starting with a ‘human mind’, and therefore error in the premise will produce only more or deeper error?
I suspect the Only Mind, known only by spiritual sense/intuition with signs following, revealing God is ALL?
I shall order/read the book ‘Man, the Divine Fullness – Notes of James Neal given to Doris Henty’ for further clarity. 🙂
I too am very grateful for the Plainfield CS worldwide community.
