The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

What I like about some of the writings of poets and mystics is that they are more Scientific than the mostly Scholastic Christianity of the present world, more free of matter-beliefs and of a wrong concept of a superior being. What hit home with me lately was a sentence in my notebook from the 1875 edition of S&H.
The sensations of the material senses…. in no way proceed from matter.
God is Creator of consciusness, soul, thoughts, only. The limitless Spirit without beginning or end cannot produce a creation made of matter. Divine Mind’s thoughts and ideas constitute the only substance. There is no objective universe or world. Reality is subjective, and as an image and likeness it depends on our receptivity and our ability to reflect the divine substance, the mind of Christ, Life, Truth and Love.

Love is the liberator.
