The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Thank you both. This is such an important point. Gaining the discipline of seeing the image and likeness of God in each individual, in spite of the outward appearance of personality, is essential to healing. Mrs. Evans used to remind us that when we see someone acting badly or sickly, we should separate the error from the person, love the person as the image of God and destroy the error impersonally. The error (personality) never belongs to anyone! This is having that mind which was also in Christ. This is practicing the science of Christianity. It may be a big challenge to discipline thought to do this, but it is the greatest freedom and joy.
