Don't be foolish

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    “Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?”

    I just love this statement from this week’s lesson, My practitioner is consistently reminding me to identify correctly and here we have Paul reminding the Galatians that they were already made perfect in Spirit. The flesh cannot better it, so don’t be foolish and get it twisted. Excellent lesson.

This makes me think of so many things I have learned about and use after coming to Plainfield : The article Body accredited to Mrs. Eddy, The article A Treatment for Every Day also by Mrs. Eddy where the first line states,” Every time you declare you are perfect in God, there goes through the body a health giving power.” And that we are made perfect in Christ- Matthew 5:48 and ll Corinthians 12:9.
