The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“Error of any kind cannot hide from the law of God.” This is a good Truth to know for yourself, your family, church, nation, world…Mrs. Eddy states once error is found out and uncovered it is two-thirds destroyed and the final third will destroy itself! The only chance the serpent has is to hide itself and it will try every subtle and devious way to do this – but Truth with its eternal laws uncovers the lie for its total and final destruction.

As we grow in Science, this law is what governs every activity and enables us to recognize any mistake (error) for what it is and correct it. Whether the mistake is a belief in the reality of disease, a false belief about someone else (envy, hatred, etc.), or a false belief about yourself (too good, too bad, too old, too young, too poor, etc.), all these mistakes will come to the light of day and be corrected by what you know of the truth.

Our job is to prepare our hearts for the law of God to work in us. It works in us through our spiritual sense, which as Mrs. Eddy writes, “this Soul-sense comes to the human mind when the latter yields to the divine Mind.” This yielding is the humility that is required in order to think clearly and to do anything correctly. It is the sense by which we can perceive the things of God, distinguish between the real and the unreal, and know right from wrong. It is the only safety we have.
