The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I’m very grateful for the August 19th Wednesday Service, and I wanted to express my gratitude to Dede for her inspired readings on Faith, read with such conviction and Love. The theme “ Standing Fast in Unwavering Faith” was such an inspiration, and a much needed reminder to me, to think about just how much faith am I really expressing, if after praying, I would allow even a hint of doubt, worry or disappointment to enter my thinking. The following statements “ Your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:5,) and “ For with God, nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37) really stood out to me. They inspired me to conscientiously strive to “Stand fast” no matter what, and have a strong and steadfast, unwavering faith, and know as was read at the end of the readings, “Though empires fall, “ the Lord shall reign forever.” Thank you Dede for these beautiful God inspired readings.

Thank you Nancy for your remarks – they could not have come at a better time for me as I was being heavily challenged this evening with current affairs and a close friend who was reaching out to me for help after having been disillusioned by the BOD at the Mother Church.
    Much gratitude for your remarks.
