Gift from God

The Forum is dedicated to each week's lesson, and may be used to post questions, comments, and constructive replies that strive to uncover the inspired meaning of the text. The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible; make two short postings of the long posts or send the lengthy ones for publication in our Magazine or Newsletter. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I have been a student of Christian Science all my life and that is a long time and I cannot for one moment conceive of living without this incredible far reaching way of life (the Science of Christianity). In all my years of being in Christian Science, I can honestly say I have never experienced such amazing teachings of this pure Science than I have found right here in The Plainfield Christian Science Church Independent – you do not have to look any further than right here for the absolute best education in this Science.
The Roundtable Discussion dated July 19th of this year was for me the most powerful fortifying discussion I have ever experienced with regard to the power of God’s allness and the stand we must take (never wavering)for this absolute truth. It could not have come at a better time as I was feeling very disquieted and unsettled due to the affairs of our nation and the world. I had been faithful in my prayerful work to see the destruction of the evil that seemed to be prevailing everywhere, but mortal mind was trying very hard to take me down another path by questioning my effectiveness in the prayerful work that I was committed to.
This Roundtable Discussion helped me get right back to correct productive thinking with more conviction and consecration than I had ever experienced before.
I honestly cannot express enough gratitude for these remarkable discussions held every Sunday morning – every one is a Gift From God.
