God blessed them.

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“God created man in his own image, and God blessed them.” Genesis 1

This citation brought me great comfort this week. For so long I did not feel blessed but it was because I had left my Father’s house. As I am learning how to live the Biblical precepts/laws of the universe which Mrs. Eddy explains in her writing I am witnessing in my daily life the promises found in the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

This has opened my eyes to see how this blessing can only be good, eternal, universal, impartial, irreversible, changeless, impervious, abundant, infinite; always available for all people, nations, and creation. No room for anything unlike God to enter.

Thanks. “No room for anything else.” God can only bless. From Genesis 1, God could only make what is like Himself (Good). This makes sense. Genesis 2 and 3 does not make sense especially for scientific Christianity where truth must produce like itself.” God, Truth could not create anything cursed to slave upon the earth. Behold, our great danger is to not try the spirits and believe a lie about ourselves and others.
