Grateful for Roundtables

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I was organizing some books and papers this morning and came across some notes I had taken during a Roundtable discussion. I did not write a date on the notes but I believe they were recorded within the past few months. I usually have some paper and pen during these discussions in case I want to write down a great idea, suggestion, or title of an article. This particular page of notes had some largely printed words that said, “Secure in God. Right now!” These words caught my eye and immediately my thought went to the lock down situation that continues to occur in many cities and countries around the world. I gave it some prayerful thought. Lock downs? No. Man is locked-in LOVE. That is his place and condition. As the man of Genesis I, he/she is freely expressing and manifesting God, good. Martha Wilcox says it nicely in her article, “God Governs the Universe.” She says, “Reason and logic show us conclusively that what appears as a human being with life and intelligence in and of himself, is none other that Mind’s presence.” I am extremely grateful for the Round table discussions.
