Individuality

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Two people brought to my attention the word individuality in the lesson Sermon On Life. The words individuality, individualizes, and individuals appear in Science and Health citations 1,2, 6, 9 and 13. Citations one and two state: ” God is the Life, or intelligence, which forms and preserves the individuality and identity of animals as well as men. –The divine Ego, or individuality, is reflected in all spiritual individuality from the infinitesimal to the infinite.”
    Bicknell Young says on page 118 of Collected Writings, ” Each one’s individuality is God.”
    and the 1828 Webster Dictionary writes , “Individuality is Oneness.”
    This gave me a lot to pray about this week with personal concerns and caring for mankind.
