Life reflected in existence

The Forum is dedicated to each week's lesson, and may be used to post questions, comments, and constructive replies that strive to uncover the inspired meaning of the text. The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible; make two short postings of the long posts or send the lengthy ones for publication in our Magazine or Newsletter. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

In Science and Health it states “God fashions all, things after His own likeness. Life is reflected in existence, Truth in truthfulness, God in goodness, which impart their own peace and permanence.” Everyone will admit that they exist, but how many will acknowledge that this existence is tangible evidence of the vital force that brought all creation into existence. What an awesome thing it is to realize that God Himself brought you about, animates you, and propels your activities. This definitely gives a glimpse into the model to hold in thought while going about your day.

And what a wonderful thing this is–that God fashioned us after His own likeness. It is so humbling, and realizing this is heaven on earth.

And because of this Truth we can..”looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” !
