No reversal of good!

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    4. Exodus 14
13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

While reading this verse, my first thought was, “No reversal!” Since God, good, is the only Cause, when we are truly healed we can know that the false beliefs which brought on the seeming issue will be seen “again no more for ever.”

Mary Baker Eddy, Her Spiritual Precepts, by Gilbert Carpenter:
If the statement in Science and Health, page 442, is true, “…truth cannot be reversed, but the reverse of error is true,” then students have the authority for playing the game of reversal on animal magnetism. If error declares you are sick, you can know that you are well, since the reversal of error must be the truth.

Association Addresses by Bicknell Young, page 55 of the 1937 Address:
Man’s activity is reflection; his possession is reflection. Mind could find no reversal in Itself, no fear in Itself, no delay in Itself, no inactivity in Itself.

Essays and Other Footprints, (the “Red Book”), by Mary Baker Eddy, page 90:
You live in the land of promise. God has called you out of any sojourn in Egypt (in darkness) to return to your own country and inheritance. The days of hunger, famine, thirst are past.

I am so grateful for all I am learning here. Thank you!
