We gladly welcome your comments on our Forum and Bulletin Board but we do maintain the right to edit and/or take down anything we feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible; make two short postings of the long posts or send the lengthy ones for publication in our Magazine or Newsletter. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Rom 8:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

From Webs 1828: To impute: To charge; to attribute; to set to the account of; generally ill, sometimes good.
This means we miss the effect of redemption if we continue to impute trespasses to personality. To redeem we must rebuke when needed but then separate the lie from individuals, and destroy the mesmerizing error as ever being part of God’s likeness, as we are repeatedly taught to do in this Church. It is impossible to reconcile two opposing qualities. Only Christ-likeness can be reconciled to the Christ.
