Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Omniscience

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    “Divine metaphysics, as revealed to spiritual understanding, shows clearly that all is Mind, and that Mind is God, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience – that is, all power, all presence, all Science. Hence all is in reality the manifestation of Mind.”(S&H) As we have discussed at the roundtable, Mrs. Eddy had the workers in her home do a morning watch everyday to handle fear. She could not possibly do all the work needed for the church and for all mankind with the belief of fear trying to gain foothold anywhere in her experience. She would often instruct them to gain a better understanding of the all power, all presence and all Science of God for it is impossible to feel fear when you are dwelling in the total ALLNESS of our heavenly Father. I have found it very important to do this type of watch for myself every morning. You will be surprised at how much better your day will go when you approach all you may have to meet, well grounded in this Truth – God IS all power and there is no other presence or power!

    Thank you! This is so important because as Gary brought out in a recent testimony, we may be spending our days doing things out of fear that we may not even realize we are harboring! That is how subtle error is. What a wake-up call it is to see if I’m doing things out of fear. The above is a great antidote to that.
