Plainfield Lesson-Sermons

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Thank you for this magnificent Lesson-Sermon this week on animal magnetism! It is truly an inspired culmination to all that has been happening these past few months. During all the time I was away from Plainfield Church — wandering in the desert, so to speak — I never stopped reading the Plainfield Lesson-Sermons. Thank you to all those who go to God and humbly listen for His guidance and selflessly write them so we can be blessed and inspired each week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Lesson for June 14 2020

    From S&H. In my words
    The understanding of God relies on faith upon an understood Principle.
    This Principle …brings out the enduring and harmonious phases of things.
    That last sentence is what I lost
    When I turned on The tube on my car Bluetooth
    And heard Mary Beth say
    “Good morning Carol”
    I didn’t know then about the live services.
    I said yes I’m here
    Anyway
    Now I’m making an “evidence gained of Spirit“ book
    And thank you
    Everyone
    Specially God in us all
