Principle is in operation

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

I find that this lesson on Everlasting Punishment to be very encouraging. The first verse in the responsive reading “The lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed” says it clearly. The claim of error is that we are in a bad way and are stuck with it. We are not stuck with anything but divine mercy. Principle is God, good and He does operate. Whatever we find in our experience of evil, oppression, or anguish, the one fixed rule about it all is that it comes to an end. We can be thoroughly confident that these things do end. God always will make a way for us to work through and out of sin, sickness, or any other form of oppression. The divine Principle, Love, always prevails.
