Pure, perfect, and enduring

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“Immortal ideas, pure, perfect, and enduring, are transmitted by the divine Mind through divine Science, which corrects error with truth and demands spiritual thoughts, divine concepts, to the end that they may produce harmonious results.” (S&H) This statement was given to me by a practitioner to work with when pregnant with our first child. It is a powerful thought and holds true for many instances – looking for employment, starting a business or project, finding a home…whatever the need might be. God’s immortal ideas are pouring forth “pure, perfect, and enduring” to bring any right idea to a harmonious conclusion. Truth is also correcting error and demanding every detail to stay in perfect alignment with the Divine will. Thank you Mrs. Eddy!

It is great to see one source of ‘pure, perfect’ in Mrs. Eddy’s writings as you taught us to use first thing in the morning with the synonyms of God. In the short time I have been doing this I can see the greater ‘power’ I have received while praying with the synonyms daily resulting in greater peace and joy. THANK YOU, Mrs. Singleterry!!
