Reverse It!

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

    Science reverses the false testimony of the physical senses, and by this reversal mortals arrive at the fundamental facts of being.

    Health is not a condition of matter, but of Mind; nor can the material senses bear reliable testimony on the subject of health. The Science of Mind-healing shows it to be impossible for aught but Mind to testify truly or to exhibit the real status of man. Therefore the divine Principle of Science, reversing the testimony of the physical senses, reveals man as harmoniously existent in Truth, which is the only basis of health; and thus Science denies all disease, heals the sick, overthrows false evidence, and refutes materialistic logic.

    The idea of reversing any material so-called law or “logic” came to me strongly this morning as I was reading the lesson. God is the only authority, substance, law, intelligence, creator of all. Yes, we need to affirm constantly these truths, but also reverse the lie! So, we can say with authority that God governs all, and this fact cannot be reversed! God’s man (and woman and children) cannot be mesmerized by suggestions that a virus can harm anyone physically or financially – and this law cannot be reversed! ETC! Annul it and make it void! And know it then goes back on itself with accelerated force!
