Right motive

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

“Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way. Right motives give pinions to thought, and strength and freedom to speech and action.”(S&H) Have you ever felt depressed, lazy, unmotivated? All of this is a definite sign of selfish thinking – and it is one of my definitions of everlasting punishment!! The only way out is letting unselfed love – God’s Love enter in, and to replace this negative and selfish behavior with His Light and His Purpose. God has given all His creation a unique plan to fulfill. When we are feeling unmotivated it is because we are not in tune with His wonderful and inspired plan. To jump start yourself begin to pray and ask God what work does He have for you to do today? How can you bless someone? If you are truly sincere and your motive pure God will answer this desire and fill the void…you will find yourself on the road to lasting joy and fulfillment.
