Spiritual Wickedness in High Places

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    5. John 19:6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

Though I have read this (and the other Gospel versions of this situation many times) somehow reading it this time, the idea of of any that claim to have God in their life, to advocate crucifying anyone much less Christ Jesus struck very deep. The chief priests who should represent and teach “intuition, hope, faith, understanding, fruition, reality” (S&H 298:13) to call upon crucifixion under any circumstance is beyond comprehension! Thanks to the lesson writer to give the antidote with Bible verses and Mrs. Eddy’s writings which uplift my “intuition, hope, faith, understanding, fruition, reality”:)

God’s Christian Science is truly the only remedy!!
