Thank you for the music!

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Dear Faith, Jared, Bruce and others contributing to the musical beat of our lives, Thank you for your continuous work! I work in front of the computer 14 hours a day, hardly ever getting up from it, trying to solve problems of others most of the time. It is easy to lose track and think unscientific thoughts. So lately I set my telephone ringtone to play your “Peace on Earth” so that before I pick up the phone, I get my thoughts right. I also set an alarm for every two-hours during the day, when certain hymns start playing, just to remind myself to take a short minute-prayer and get out the rat race for a moment. My favourites are “If we ever needed the Lord before” and “I go to the Rock”. Needless to say, it also gets me up from the table for a bit of boogie, so now I am fully compliant with at-home work safely principles :).
