The Angels of His Presence

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    “And the angel of his presence saved them: In his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.” What a beautiful and comforting passage from Isaiah and one well to remember for it is the truth. Even in our darkest moments these angels surround to guard and guide if we but realize this. The angels of his presence surround those you love. Perhaps you can’t be with them or don’t even know where they are – but God’s presence is always with them. This verse has done much to relieve worry and stress – knowing and affirming God’s ever-present love for His children.

    Yes, how comforting to remember His presence. To go with this is always the assurance
    that God ALONE is power.These simple spiritual facts really do give strength in those
    times when error’s taunting can give a false sense of helplessness,weakness, or
    discouragement. The following are helpful to commit to heart:

    Luke 9 : 43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God.
    Ps 62:11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
    109 : 32-12 The three great verities of Spirit, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience,
    — Spirit possessing all power, filling all space, constituting all Science.
    SH 192 Evil is not power!
    Next time all appears to be “down” may we remember the POWER of God which is everywhere!!
