"The Lord" is the right idea

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

Human wisdom and ability cannot save the world in the perilous hour, but deliverance will come from the Lord who made heaven and earth. And let us remember that “The Lord” is the right idea, or true consciousness, which we entertain concerning all things. The thinking of right thoughts or spiritual ideas is the only power in the universe.”

    In our watches, the power of the right idea – “The Lord” is felt! This true consciousness wipes out all claims of evil. I am grateful for learning how to “watch” my thinking with the rules of pure Christian Science as taught at the Plainfield Christian Science Church, Independent! In holding to right ideas, I know God is always with us loving, loving, loving his creation.
