This week's Bible Lesson

The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

This week’s Bible Lesson is so beautiful I just feel impelled to at least acknowledge that fact. It explains or portrays Christian Science – the lesson’s subject this week – better than I have ever heard done before. I was raised in the CS Sunday School, have been utilizing gratefully the Plainfield Website for nearly 5 years, and this lesson on Christian Science is more meaningful to me, more enlightening for whatever reason, than anything else I have learned or read really. Fact is, I have always kind of felt somewhat cynical about that particular lesson title – I think because, before discovering Plainfield, my experience of Christian Science and many Christian Scientists, has seemed shallow and/or hypocritical and/or holier-than-thou ish. Thank you God and the lesson writer for this wonderful lesson on Christian Science.
