The Bulletin Board is for gratitude for Christian Science and the Church, as well as timely excerpts from the Bible, the works of Mrs. Eddy, and the early workers that help and encourage. We are very grateful for all posts that conform to these guidelines, but will edit or remove anything that the Practitioners feel is not in complete accord with pure Christian Science or in any way disrespectful of it.

We also ask that you keep your postings as concise as possible. If you quote the Bible, please use The King James Version, as this is what Mrs. Eddy used. Thank you!

    Thank you for such a beautiful post. After reading this post hymn 182 came to thought;

    Make channels for the steams of Love, where they may broadly run; and Love has over
    flowing streams, To fill them every one.
    But if at any time we cease such channels to provide, the very founts of love for us
    will then seem parched and dried.
    For we must share, if we would keep that blessing from above; They cease to have
    who cease to give, Such is the law of Love.

    Thank your for this post. It has reminded me of the following statement that I memorized and use on a regular basis. I’m not sure where it originated. It is called Non-consent. “I do not believe in the necessity nor in the belief of the necessity of now or of ever passing through the belief called death. I do not believe that I am or that any one is under any such necessity therefor, I shall not and I will not consent to death.”

    Thank you. I have always loved the statements in the Bible that speak of strength. In the 1828 Dictionary some definitions for strength are as follows: Power of resisting attacks, fastness, power of mind, intellectual force; the power of any faculty; as strength of memory, strength of reason; strength of judgment. Realizing that my entire being resides in the strength of God I CAN do all things through Him. How wonderful!

    I also agree that the Wednesday testimony meeting on December 7th was a gift to all participating and listening. I am so very grateful for all of the activities of the Plainfield Church. Every activity is a gift that keeps on giving. Everyone at Plainfield expresses so much love that no matter where you are during the church services, Bible Study, or roundtable the warmth of your love is felt. Thank you Plainfield! I am so grateful for God guiding me here and keeping me here.

    So very grateful for the love that Plainfield express to mankind, through the Sunday and Wednesday evening services, Bible Study, Roundtable,
    Love is the Liberator Magazine and web site. I know this love is felt by all mankind right now and at all times. From Miscellaneous Writings page 277:23-28 No evidence before the material senses can close my eyes to the scientific proof that God, good is supreme. Though clouds are round about Him, the divine justice and judgement are enthroned. Love is especially near in times of hate, and never so near when one can be just amid lawlessness, and render good for evil.
